Village of Ellsworth Landfill Hours:

April through October: Saturday 8:00 am - 12;00 pm • Wednesday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

November: Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

December through March: First Saturday of each month 8:00 am -12:00 pm.

A fee of $20.00 will be charged to enter the landfill during closed hours. The fee must be paid at the Village Hall prior to an employee opening the landfill.

ITEMS ALLOWED AT THE LANDFILL, INCLUDING FEES:

No Charge: Brush, yard waste (leaves, grass, garden waste, composting material).

$15.00 per pickup load: Demolitian Material (wood, brick, cement, windows, roofing materials, plasterboard, siding, insulation, ect.

$50.00 per dump truck & dumpster.

A receipt must be presented when dumping or landfill attendant will not allow you to unload materials. Brush and yard waste must be separated/demolition materials must be dumped separate. All materials must be removed from containers.

• Plastic Flower pots
• Tires
• Paint Roofing (tar) pails)
• Driveway sealer pails

• Cloth Items
• Basic household items

Items not allowed must go in your garage, or for larger items, contact your garbage hauler. Failure to comply with the above rules may result in a fine imposed by the local Police Department. A sticker (free of charge) is available at the Village Hall and is necessary to enter the landfill.
