Village Demo Site Hours
- Wednesdays: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Special Hours for November
- Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Special Hours December through March
- First Saturday of each month: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Fees
- Free to dispose of yard waste, brush & leaves
- $25 per pickup load of construction materials
- $75 per trailer load of construction materials
- $25 fee to open the demo site during closed hours
All fees must be paid at the Village Adminsitrator/Clerk-Treasurer's Office before entering the demo site
Annual Dump Stickers are required to enter the demo site.
Village residents can pick up free dump stickers at Village Hall.
Dog Licenses
All dogs 5 months of age or older must be licensed annually. All dog licenses expire December 31st of the year they were issued. A current "Proof of Rabies" vaccination from your veterinarian for each animal is required along with your fee for licensing. New residents and pet owners have a 30 day grace period to license your pets.
January 1st through March 31st: $10 for an altered animal and $12 for unaltered animal
April 1st through December 31st: $15 for an altered animal and $17 for unaltered animal
A license for each dog you own can be obtained by submitting:
- proof of rabies certificate
- applicable fees
- Dog license application form

Off-Street Parking:
Off-street parking is in effect from November 1st to March 31st, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m..
No person shall park on any street or highway in the Village any vehicle, except physicians on emergency calls in the Village of Ellsworth.
Snow Removal:
The owner or occupant of any lot or parcel shall each day remove all snow and ice which may have fallen or accumulated upon the sidewalk in front of such of such lot or parcel; provided, when ice has so formed that it cannot be removed, the owner or occupant shall keep the same sprinkled with a material which will prevent the sidewalk from being dangerous to pedestrians.

- 95 Gallon = $15.68 monthly charge for a quarterly bill of $47.06
- 65 Gallon= $11.54 monthly charge for a quarterly bill of $34.63
- 35 Gallon= $9.81 monthly charge for a quarterly bill of $29.44

Revaluation Notice:
A revaluation of property assessments in the Village of Ellsworth shall occur for the 2022 assessment year. The approximate dates of the revaluation notices being sent to property owners is expected to be in September of 2022. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in Sections 943.13 and 943.15, Wisconsin Statutes.
The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described within the foregoing statutes. Copies of the applicable statutes can be obtained at public depositories throughout the State of Wisconsin, and from the State of Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau website or a copy may be obtained from the municipal clerk upon payment of applicable copying charges.
