2024 Spring Yard Clean-Up: April 22-26

Pick-Up:

The Public Works Department will pick-up yard waste placed in biodegradable bags from residential streets on Monday, April 22, 2024. Bags can be purchased at the Village Hall (.80 cents each). Please have bags out at the curb by 6:00 a.m., placed on the boulevard area adjacent to the street, away from your garbage. Crews will collect from each area one time only. Pickup after this date will result in a minimum pickup charge of $25.00. Pickup does not include tree trimming and brush. 

Waste Site:

The village yard waste site will be open additional hours during clean-up week: Monday, April 22 - Friday, April 26: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20 & 27: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Village residents must have a dump sticker to enter, which is available at the Village Hall, free of charge. Yard waste, brush, and leaves will be accepted free of charge. All items must be dumped from containers and plastic bags. Debris/ leaves/grass clippings shall not be deposited on any alleyway, road, street, or highway within the Village.

Construction Materials: The village of Ellsworth will no longer be accepting construction materials due to capacity issues. To dispose of these items, contact your garbage hauler (GFL 715-792-5209) or Pierce County Recycling Center at 273- 3092 or www.co.pierce.wi.us.

Regular Yard Waste Site Hours April-October: Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Wednesday: 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

November: Saturdays: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

December thru March: First Saturday of each month 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
