The Village of Ellsworth Public Works Street Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the municipality's roadways and public spaces. Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Maintain streets (over 44 miles), alleys, and residential sidewalks
• Maintain street and traffic signs
• Street sweeping
• Snow plowing, sanding, and snow removal
• Repair potholes, crack sealing, and line marking
• Mow Village owned land and problem areas
